2012 Gold Star Candlelight Vigil

The 2012 Candlelight Vigil will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1930 hours in Gold Star Families Memorial and Park. All police officers, their families, and friends are invited. This ceremony is expected to last one hour and will take place, rain or shine. As part of the tradition of the Candlelight Vigil, the names of all Chicago Police Officers

TEAM CPD White Sox Game and Tailgate Party

Join TEAM CPD for a White Sox game on Saturday, August 4 as they take on the Los Angeles Angels at 6:10pm. Tickets are $25 for just the game.
For $40, a tailgate and game ticket package is offered. The pre-game festivities will start two hours prior to the game in the lot at 33rd and Princeton and will be catered by Cork & Kerry on the Park. The exact location of the tailgate will be posted on the CPMF's website on August 1. Parking for the game is not included.
Pre-paid orders for this event can be picked up at the CPMF on August 1 from 9:00am-1:00pm, at Cork & Kerry on the Park on August 4 prior to the game, or at the tailgate.
All proceeds benefit the CPMF.

Chicago's Finest Baseball Club (CPD) Takes on Chicago's Bravest Baseball Team (CFD) at Wrigley Field!

Please join us on Sunday, August 5, as Chicago's Finest Baseball Club (CPD) takes on Chicago's Bravest Baseball Team (CFD) at Wrigley Field! Tickets are $5 in advance and can be purchased above or below. Tickets purchased the day of the event at Wrigley Field are $10.
Gates open at 1:00pm and the game will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Free parking is available in the green lot on Grace.

20th District National Night Out Against Violence 5K Run (Plus Exercise Classes, Movie in the Park & Cookout)

The 20th District has coordinated a variety of activities on Tuesday, August 7 as part of the National Night Out Against Violence initiative. Events include a 5K run benefiting the CPMF, exercise classes, a movie and a cookout. Flyers for all the events are available here.
Participants in the 2nd Annual National Night Out Against Violence 5K Run are requested to assemble at Margate Park, 4921 N. Marine Drive, with the event kicking off at 6:30pm. The cost is $30 per runner, which includes goodie bags, t-shirts and awards for various age and gender divisions. Attached here is a application to participate.
Packet pick-up is available on Monday, August 6 from 12:00-6:00pm at the Runner's Edge, 5243 N. Clark, and at the race site after 5:00pm.
Awards and post-race refreshments and activities will take place at Buttercup Playlot, 4901 N. Sheridan Road. Proceeds of the run will be donated to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.

CPMF Rooftop Cubs Game

A rooftop benefit for the CPMF will be held at Sheffield Baseball Club Rooftop, 3619 N. Sheffield, on Wednesday, August 15, as the Cubs will take on the Astros at 1:20pm. The doors to the event will open at 1:00pm.
Tickets are $100 and include all food and beverages. If you purchase three tickets for this event, the fourth is free!
