Chicago Police officer was shot tonight near 112th Street and Racine Avenue on
the Far South Side, suffering what were believed to be non-life-threatening
wounds, authorities said.
The officer was shot in the knee and was in good condition, according to a
law enforcement source. The officer suffered what were believed to be
non-life-threatening wounds, and his condition had been stabilized, according to
Police News Affairs.
The officer was being taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak
Lawn.
