A 15-year-old boy arrested on a juvenile warrant Thursday night escaped from police custody.
He was being held at the 11th District police station, at the intersection of Harrison Street and Kedzie Avenue on the West Side, when he escaped.
He was not being held in the district's lockup at the time of his escape, police said.
It's not clear what prompted his arrest.
