BELOIT,
Wis. -- Beloit police are looking for a man from Harvey in connection with the
Sunday shooting death of a Chicago man.
Officers
and paramedics responded about 11:22 a.m. Sunday to a residential property in
the 700 block of Merrill Street in Beloit, according to a press release from the
Beloit Police Department. They found Ricky Sims, a 19-year-old Chicago man, with
multiple gunshot wounds in a yard; he was transported to Beloit Hospital where
he died during surgery.
