Cake Boss Charged with DUI

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City police say "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro has been arrested on a drunken-driving charge.

Police say Bartolo Valastro, of Montville, New Jersey, was driving erratically when he was pulled over on 10th Avenue in Lower Manhattan around 1 a.m. Thursday. Police say officers observed Valastro's yellow 2014 Corvette swerving through traffic while traveling north between 20th and 32nd streets.

Police say he was unsteady on his feet when he stepped out of the vehicle. They say his face was flushed and his eyes were bloodshot. Police say he failed a Breathalyzer test and was taken into custody.

Valastro stars in the reality show, Cake Boss that airs on TLC. He operates several bakeries. A call for comment left at his Hoboken, N.J., location wasn't immediately returned.

We have spoken to the U.S. Secret Service.
Agent Janet Reese has informed us that she has spoken to about 200 Chicago residents and surrounding areas about making threats to the president.  She state everyone of them stated how they contacted Senator Dick Durbin ' s office and 3 days later they are visited. Reese stated that any time a person makes a threat to the president they have to investigate.  Reese stated the one she can't get away from is two guys she visited stated instead of talking to me you should be arresting the ape in office for treason.  She determined that all were no physical threat to the president but all are adamant of locking him up.

We also called Cook County Sheriff’s Department and they gave us the no comment line.

Senator Durbin was not available for comments.

Senator Richard Durbin Facebook page deleted a true statement

This was emailed to us and I think it is important for the Illinois people to know.

To whom it may concern,
I am a fan of yours and felt I could come to you with my problem.  I was on Senator Dick Durbin ' s page and posted that I called and wrote him to remove obama by impeachment or I was going to arrest him myself.  Mr . Durbin sent the US Secret Service and the Cook County Sheriff’s police to my job then sent the IRS to my home to audit me. I asked all parties who sent them. The IRS wouldn't say but the Cook County Sheriff’s police stated it was Mr. Durbin.  He felt that I threatened him and Obama.  When I posted this to his page he deleted my comments and removed me from his friends list. Can you help.

Obama is Forcing the Military to Cover Up Berdahl’s Treason Against Amer

After three and a half months of waiting, Americans still have not received any answers from the Pentagon about whether or not Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl actually abandoned his post and aided the Taliban against Americans, and it looks like Obama is doing everything in his power to once again bury the truth about it, only this time he’s abusing the military to carry out his plan.

Many Americans feel that Bergdahl should be put through a court martial for leaving his post and potentially helping terrorists kill American soldiers, but high ranking Army officials say this will not happen, because, despite the massive evidence that points to Bergdahl being a traitor, taking this course of action will make Obama “look bad.”
To go along with this, the investigation into Bergdahl’s disappearance has been delayed, with no deadline attached, meaning this investigation could go well past the November elections, helping Obama and other Democrats minimize the damage and possibly help stop Republicans from taking the Senate.

According to the New York Post, the delay is due to Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl’s, failure to turn in findings from the investigation last month. Dahl’s made a request for an extension, which is now currently without a time limit.

This is outrageous. Once again, just like with Benghazi, the president is trying to cover up the truth in order to put himself and the Democratic Party in a more favorable position come election time.

Much of the evidence that’s been uncovered so far proves that Bergdahl was a traitor who helped the Taliban kill Americans, and what’s worse is the president broke the law to help get him back, freeing dangerous high level terrorists to go back out on the battlefield.

What’s even more sick is that president is using the Army, which he has abused and disrespected on many accounts, to do his dirty work and cover up the fact that he broke the law to bring home a traitor.

There’s no doubt that seeing Obama cave to terrorist demands emboldened ISIS, which is now attempting to use kidnapped American hostages for ransom and other purposes.

Deering District Chicago Police: Officer saves life

A Chicago police officer is credited with saving the life of a newborn baby.

Police said the officer heard a dispatcher asking if anyone knew how to do CPR on a newborn Friday night.

She rushed to the home in the city's Bridgeport neighborhood, found the baby turning blue and quickly did CPR, officials said.

By the time fire crews arrived, the newborn was breathing on its own.

Chicago police commander in lock up for being the police

As a lieutenant, he was also shown in a series of iconic Tribune photos during NATO summit protests in May 2012. The collection of photos shows Evans front-and-center, getting hit over the head with a wooden stick while fending off rowdy protesters just south of downtown.

A Chicago police commander frequently praised by Supt. Garry McCarthy for his no-nonsense approach to fighting crime in some of the city’s toughest neighborhoods was charged Wednesday with placing the barrel of his gun into a suspect’s mouth.

Cmdr. Glenn Evans, who headed the West Side’s Harrison patrol district until he was relieved of his police powers, faces one count of aggravated battery and one count of official misconduct, according to Sally Daly, a spokeswoman for State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez.

As recently as Monday, McCarthy offered a vigorous defense of Evans, whose case represents a new scandal for a department with a long history of abuse allegations. But after the charges were announced, the superintendent released a statement:

“The alleged actions, if true, are unacceptable to the both the residents we serve and to the men and women of this department. As soon as we were made aware of the charges Commander Evans was relieved of his police powers, pending the outcome of this matter. Like any private citizen, the commander is innocent until proven guilty and we need to allow this case to proceed like any other. We will cooperate fully with prosecutors.”

Evans is scheduled to appear in Bond Court on Thursday. He could not be reached for comment.

The allegations, first reported by WBEZ radio, stem from an arrest Evans and at least two of his officers made on Jan. 30, 2013 while on patrol in the Park Manor neighborhood. At the time, Evans was the commander of the South Side’s Grand Crossing patrol district.

Evans and the officers saw Rickey J. Williams, 24, standing near 71st Street and Eberhart Avenue and holding a blue steel handgun in his right hand, according to a police report. Evans approached Williams, who then ran away.

After briefly losing sight of him, police arrested Williams in an abandoned home, the report states. No gun was found on Williams, but he was arrested and charged with reckless conduct, a misdemeanor. The case was dropped a few months later.

Williams is being held on other charges at the Pontiac Correctional Center.

It was unclear at what point Evans allegedly placed the barrel of his service weapon into the suspect’s mouth. DNA from the man was found on Evans’ gun, according to a State Police lab report.

The Independent Police Review Authority, which looks into allegations of excessive force and other misconduct by Chicago police officers, investigated the gun-in-mouth complaint and recommended that Evans be relieved of his police powers until the case was resolved, but McCarthy left him in his position. The agency also forwarded its findings to Cook County prosecutors for possible criminal charges.

Evans is among 662 officers with 11 or more complaints during a five-year period in the 2000s, newly released police records show. He had 14 complaints between 2001 and 2006 and faced no discipline for any of them, the records show.

He has also been named as a defendant in a number of police misconduct lawsuits.

Among his peers, Evans has a reputation as an aggressive boss who works around the clock and often with regular officers on the streets in some of Chicago's worst neighborhoods. He has been publicly praised by McCarthy, who promoted Evans to the rank of commander in 2012.

During an unrelated news conference Monday at a West Side police station, McCarthy gave a stern response to a reporter when asked whether he supported Evans despite IPRA’s recommendation to have him relieved of his police powers.

“I'm not going to answer that question. That’s absurd. Do I support him? If I didn’t support him, he wouldn’t be there,” McCarthy said.

McCarthy continued to defend Evans, explaining how the commander was working through two high-profile incidents in his district over the weekend: the accidental shooting of a 3-year-old boy, and the shooting of an armed teenager by police that sparked protests.

“I'm sorry, do you know that Cmdr. Evans was working from 9 o’clock Friday morning until about midnight Saturday ...? You don’t,” McCarthy said. “And you also don’t know that Cmdr. Evans was on the scene of the police-related shooting last night on Sunday evening to ensure that there was not a problem on the streets. So you really should have some context when you ask questions like that.”

Prior to his promotion to commander, Evans was the tactical lieutenant in the Gresham patrol district, helping fight gang violence and drug activity.
