South Shore Grand Crossing was shot up by a gun wheeling, banana eating, porch hanging primate

Two others were shot about 9:40 p.m. on the 6700 block of South Blackstone Avenue in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, Flynn said. An "elderly" patient was transported in good-to-fair condition to Jackson Park Hospital and a 21-year-old man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, he said. Police said a 65-year-old man was shot in the foot. The younger man was shot in the buttocks.
Two men in their 20s and a teen were shot in the 7000 block of South Chappel Avenue about 12:15 a.m., police said. A 22-year-old is in critical condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital after getting shot in the torso. A 23-year-old man is also in critical condition at John H. Stroger Jr., Hospital of Cook County after suffering gunshot wounds to the back. An 18-year-old shot is in stable condition at Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. Someone stepped out of a gray vehicle and fired at the trio before getting in the vehicle and heading south, police said. All three affiliated with the same gang, police said.
